Alexander Peskanov Program and Master Class Oct. 23 and 24

​This Friday, Oct. 23, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Steinway Gallery, we are privileged to a presentation by Alexander Peskanov,on "In Search of Sound" from beginner to virtuoso levels. Come hear a discussion of the Russian Piano School's approach to achieving a full weight-produced sound, achieving true relaxation and overcoming some technical hazards in the piano repertoire. Demonstrations will be given on how to practice the Russian Technical Regimen requirements for Levels 1-VII of the Piano Olympics Program. Monster Concert News

​Monster Piano Concert is Sunday, January 17. This unique event is open to students, friends and family of SLAMTA members. Multiple performers will play ensemble music on grand pianos and Clavinovas with a conductor. Samples of the music will be available to look at this week at the Peskanov programs. Plan now to take advantage of this enjoyable opportunity for students of all levels.

Play-a-Thon Registration is Open

Registration for Play-a-thon is currently open, but times are filling up quickly. Teachers sign up for a block of time for their studetns to perform music at the St. Louis Galleria. Entry fee is $10 per student. This is a fun festive performance event for students. Contact Janna O'Hara for more information.
