This activity provides a very public forum for all kinds of students and all kinds of music, including pop. Typically, because this event is so close to the Christmas holiday, seasonal music is preferred, however any genre or style is acceptable. Teachers sign up for a time slot, which they are expected to fill, but not go beyond. Memorization is not required, but performances must be polished.  Dress is casual to dressy. There is a $15.00 registration fee per student, payable via PayPal (preferred) or by mailing a check made payable to SLAMTA to Bethany Nikstad, SLAMTA Treasurer, 3301 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, MO 63118.
