Young Artists Competitions

Entries open: April 21st-25th, 2025

Competition: Saturday, May 17th 8:30am-3pm at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

Honors Recital: Saturday, May 17th, 5-7pm -Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (all medalists present one piece of the judge’s choosing)

The Gold Medalist Recital: Sunday, May 18th, 1pm at the Second Baptist Church in Richmond Heights; 9030 Clayton Rd, St. Louis, MO 63117

Eligibility: 

● For SLAMTA Teachers most outstanding students teachers' most outstanding students in grades 6-12. 

● Each teacher may enter a maximum of SEVEN students. 

● Medal and honorable mention recipients must participate in the Honors Recital following the auditions. Teachers are also expected to be present.
