The following two videos are from the Monster Piano Concert held in January at Missouri Baptist University.  The first video is of students performing Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy using orchestral voices on the Yamaha Clavinovas.  The second video is of a lively mixed meter piece titled Tango Lights.  Enjoy!

January brings one of our most unique performance events:   MONSTER PIANO CONCERT.  This family concert features many performers on 6 grand pianos and 7 Yamaha Clavinovas simultaneously playing ensemble repertoire under the direction of a conductor.  Parents, grandparents and teachers have the opportunity to play together with their children/students.  A special feature is the Clavinova pieces where a plethora of instrumentation is produced on the digital keyboards.  The concert is on January 17 at 3:00 p.m. in the Pillsbury Chapel at Missouri Baptist University.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.  A special thanks goes to Dr. Cathy Benton for organizing this unique multiple piano event every year since 2008.
